Trout Trolling on Eleven Mile Reservoir

Enjoy a 4 hour guided trolling tour of Eleven Mile Reservoir in South Park with guide Jeff Kaplan. Anglers will primarily be targeting Rainbow Trout and Cuttbow Trout with occasional shots on Brown Trout and Kokanee Salmon. This outing is perfect for families on a budget, anglers hoping to keep trout for dinner, and mixed groups with non anglers wishing to enjoy time with their angler friends on a beautiful body of water. This tour also pairs well with an additional day of fly fishing on one of our premier private or public river locations in South Park.
Jeff Kaplan lives on Eleven Mile. He has an 80 acre ranch on the south side and has spent years perfecting his trolling methods, targeting trout on one of the most magnificent inland fisheries in the state. Jeff has refined the use of sinking lines along with downriggers to trick finicky summertime trout and regularly catches when other boats are coming up empty. Jeff is patient and enjoys sharing his passion for his home water with new anglers and visitors to Colorado. Guests will fish on Jeff’s comfortable 2022 Bass Buggy DLX Sun Tracker. It is equipped with sun shade, 3 live wells, electric Canon downrigger, and a Garmin Force trolling motor coupled to a Garmin Echomap with Panoptix Liveview system.
Besides fishing, Jeff has a passion for hunting, working on his ranch, and enjoys every aspect of the great out-of-doors.

What to Bring Along:
- A valid Colorado Fishing License.
- Phone for photos and for your favorite fishing music mix.
- Windbreaker, Raincoat (Colorado weather can change rapidly – Be prepared!).
- Sun Protection – Hat, Sunscreen, Sun Glasses, Etcetera.
- Lunch, Snacks, Drinks (A cooler with ice/bottled water will be provided).
- If harvesting fish, please provide plastic bags and an additional cooler for transportation.
