When 5280 Angler was founded over a decade ago, our team had a vision to provide excellent customer service, premier instruction, outstanding equipment, and friendly knowledgeable guides on all our Colorado fly fishing adventures. Our goal was to offer a wide menu of excellent fishing destinations for individuals or groups throughout the state of Colorado. Whether fishing with brand new anglers or experienced veterans, we wanted to foster a love of the sport by providing top quality expertise, friendly instruction, and fun days on the river. From the start, we were passionate about service, and wild about fish.
From the time a prospective client first contacts us, through the trip planning, the actual day on the river, and afterwards and again, customer service has been our focus. As our guide team, permitted waters, and landowner partnerships have all continued to grow over the years, we have maintained the focus on our valued guests.
5280 Angler is thrilled to announce that Orvis has completed their evaluation of our outfitting service and chosen to officially endorse 5280 Angler via the “ORVIS ENDORSED OUTFITTER” program. Orvis is a proven leader in the business, in terms of service, education, equipment, and outfitting around the world. Our guide service is honored to be included in the ranks of so many excellent fly fishing outfitters around the world, endorsed by the Orvis program. Acceptance into the endorsement program is determined by a number of factors such as resources, facilities, experience, customer service, and references.
