5280 Angler is open for bookings, and will be hosting guided trips starting April 27th. Our plan is to CONTINUE TO GUIDE OUR RIVERS AND STREAMS at that time and we will remain committed to KEEPING OUR CUSTOMERS AND GUIDES SAFE.
Amid the increasing public health concerns with regards to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), I want you to know that the safety of our guests and guides is of paramount importance to every member of our team. Like you, we have been monitoring the situation and preparing as we get more information.
Fly Fishing is an activity that involves low contact with others. This makes fishing a great destination to pass the time and relieve a little stress.
The following actions are being taken to keep our valued customers and employees healthy:
- Clients are asked to drive straight to the river and back, and not stop along the way.
- Clients or guides that have been in recent contact with COVID-19 positive people or currently exhibiting symptoms should not be on the water.
- Guides will have disinfecting products on hand to spray/wipe down equipment, and sanitize hands, before, during, and after use.
- Guides will wear face coverings when guiding and ensure we keep safe distance from clients. We strongly encourage our guests to provide personal coverings as well.
- Anglers on full day outings can opt out of a guide-prepared lunch if they would like to provide their own.
- Guides that are purposely ignoring social distancing practices, or who are putting themselves or clients at risk will not be allowed to guide.
- Guides must be in top physical health, if not, another guide will be assigned to a trip.
- Guides will limit the amount of contact with the handles of a client’s fly rod and sanitize hands regularly.
- Clients and guides will be reminded to limit social interactions when traveling to the river.
- When taking pictures clients and anglers will remain at a safe social distance, and will not exchange phones.
Thanks for your continued support,
