Tim grew up on a farm in Nebraska and came to Colorado for grad school over 30 years ago. He was introduced to fly fishing years ago in Wyoming’s Bridger Wilderness, and since then it has become one of his favorite activities. Most of his years in Colorado were coordinating the CU Boulder Outdoor Program which exists to introduce students to fly fishing, climbing, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures. Tim also guided wilderness trips in southeast Alaska. For Tim fly fishing is a life long journey of learning. He believes it’s way more about the total experience than just the fish (hopefully) on your fly line! It’s about fun, safety, and care of the environment.
Tim is one of our instructors for the Intro to Fly Fishing Clinic.
