   Air Temperature range during fishing: Low 50’s

   General Weather conditions (sunny/cloudy/windy/etc): Sunny with some scattered clouds

 

 

Water Flow (CFS): 64 cfs               Water Temp/Time taken (or best guess): 46 Degrees

 

Water conditions/clarity (clear/stained/murky/etc): Visibility about four feet, some murkiness

 

Hatches: Midges and Blue Wing Olives

 

Fish Behavior/Location:

   Fish location/where caught:   riffles, deep runs, head of pool, tail of pool. Midges popping along the edges of

the rip-rap.

   Where in water column: Bottom, and on top.

Any other feeding behavior you noticed? Bottom strikes are very subtle

 

 

Ballpark number of fish landed/size: 16 landed – approximately 10 to 19 inches.

 

 

Type of fish: Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Cuttbows

 

 

Flies that worked/sizes: #20Black Rainbow Warriors, #22 Mercury FB Black Beauties, #22 Grey/Black RS II’s, #22-#24 Parachute Adams, #22 Griffith’s Gnat. #10 Black Woolly Buggers, #10 Black/Purple Streamers.

 

 

 

 

Other Comments: Using lighter tippets – 5X mono and fluoro.
