Adam Omernick has been fishing all his life and is passionate about teaching and sharing his experience and knowledge with others. As an International Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor, Adam has worked with people of varying skill levels to introduce them to fly fishing and help them perfect the art of casting. Adam competes in distance fly casting but spends most of his days fishing tenkara. He believes tenkara is the perfect venue for becoming an excellent angler as it allows you to focus on reading water, fish habitat, presentation and landing fish.
A tenkara, my favorite hat, and the Life-Straw water filter-keep hydrated!
ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE YOUR FISHING STYLE
Active! Who knows what great water is just around the next bend-Stick & Move!
I love the HEAT!, so any tropical saltwater destination would be right up my alley.
Three words…Royal. Wolf. PMX. I’ve caught more fish in Rock Mountain National Park on this fly.
WHAT CELEBRITY WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO GUIDE
Who else but Will Smith – His music was a big part of growing up and I feel like he would just be a fun guy who would enjoy the sport.
WHEN NOT FISHING
Always pondering the next great fishing trip…
